United Water has millions of (our) dollars to throw at ads. But we’ve got people power.
PUT A LAWN SIGN ON YOUR LAWN to help get the word out: We can win this! Let’s get 1,000 lawn signs up all around the county this month.
TO OBTAIN A LAWN SIGN: Please email rocklandwater@gmail.com with your name, email, address for sign. Or send a tax deductible check to cover the costs, with a note with your contact information. Help us cover our costs – $10/sign. It’s up to you. Make a generous extra donation – $25 or $50 or whatever you can afford – and you will receive lawns signs for your friends.
By mail: Make checks payable to: Sierra Club Foundation. Please put ‘desal campaign’ in the memo section. Include a note to let us know how many signs and your address. Mail to: Rockland Water Coalition, 220 Foss Drive, Nyack, NY 10960. (Sierra Club Foundation has set up a separate account dedicated to the desalination campaign.)
