  2. I am totally against supplying Rockland Countys drinking water from the Hudson River. For over a hundred years companies have been polluting the Hudson River with poisonous chemicals. For years now, residents were warned against eating fish from the Hudson River This filtering process will be a mechanical process, and mechanical operations are known for breaking down during their lifetime. I would rather see another resevoir in Tomkins Cove where the water company already has bought up property there for the resevoir.

  3. Hi,

Was at your Tues., 1/29 meeting and told several neighbors in Nanuet and Pearl River about desalination. I was shocked that they didn’t know what that meant and why the signs for desalination were on lawns.

I believe you have to have signs indication – I don’t want to drink Hudson River water. Some people just don’t have a clue as to what is going on.
